Doctor is very **** *** experienced in diagnosing patients
Consulting him for past 4 years
Very kind and nice doctor
Rs.350 for a 10 minute psychiatry consultation. I felt like he met me only to be able to charge the consultation fees. But not without prescriptions for a battery of tests I estimate at Rs. 15,000 at least - Dr. Mony wanted me to get detailed psychometric evaluations, EKGs and other diagnostics before even talking to me about my problem. After waiting nearly 2 hours to consult, I was shown out in 12 minutes - a record in my experience.
I don't know about the hospital (Balaji Neuro Psychiatric Centre) but Dr. Mony does not do fixed appointments - The doctor's personal receptionist was pretty emphatic about it when I called the day before asking. She banged the phone down on me when I asked a second time for a block of time. As a result I went early and waited nearly 2 hours while the orderly kept sending patients in no discernible order.
When I finally got to the doctor's cabin, for a psychiatrist, the doctor's manner was hurried and impersonal - no empathy, no effort to establish rapport or connection.
The hospital (Balaji Neuro Psychiatric Centre) is unorganised and inefficient. The staff are rude and provide good service very selectively. Nobody made any effort to make a good impression or build a rapport. ******** *** ******* ****** ** *** ********** ******** *** **** ****** ***** ** **** **** ****** **** **** **** ****** ********** **** * ******** ******* ****
